It's starting to cool down outside. This is my favorite time of year! It was a really hot summer, although it's always cooler in the redwoods. The heat takes the mist away, though. I like the mist a lot. I saw some today, so it's definitely cooling down.
Rex got a new backpack this year, so I got his old Batman backpack to use. It's okay, but it's seen better days. There is only one pocket left without holes in it. Still, it's cool. I like Batman, but he's not as cool as Spiderman!
I found out that April is keeping her journal the way Ms. MacFey used to --- on paper. I wonder how blind people use computers. There must be a way. I think I'll Google it. I guess there is software called "Screen Readers" and "Voice Recognition Software." I thikn I'll tell Ms. MacFey about it. I'm sure Eel River Community School can't afford it, though. It's pretty small.
